Dear Sir,
I am a scientist (Scientific officer) of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute, Gazipur, Bangladesh, working since September 2005 on agricultural research. I have completed MS degree obtaining CGPA 3.648. Now I need a scholarship for my higher degree (PhD) so that I can contribute in agricultural research in my country. If you consider and give me a chance I will be grateful to you and try to fulfill the goal of the scholarship.

I am Pramod Maithil from India. I have been involved in educational research & teaching at Primary & middle level since last 9 to 10 years with well known organizations of India. Now I wish to study further in order to learn more in education especially in the area of “How Children learn?”

I have interacted with the director of the doctorate programme at the Stirling institute of Education, University of Stirling, Scotland, UK. I had applied in her guidance & got an offer to get admission in 1+3 years of research degree programme (Mres & PhD) from the University.

The total fee of the programme is around £ 19,000 & staying etc extra. I am clear that I or my family cannot afford this amount. I have to join till September 2010. Within this one year I have to explore funding as soon as possible.

I am writing it to you that what possibilities are now available for students like me in the light of current status of my application for further study.

Please guide me if there is any possibility of Fellowship or any other means of paying the fees.

· I have master degree from one of Indian Universities and stay in INDIA, M.P.

· I have 9 to 10 years of experience in Teaching & Educational Research in India with well-known organizations.

· A University has accepted my research interest and offered me to join.

It is hard for me to know the Universities that provide a PhD in any of the following areas: Human Resurce, International Planning, Management, Sustainable development and Gender among others. I would also wish to be assisted in securing financial support to carry out one of the disciplines mentioned above.
