First class Honours degree, or a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, or a related field of study.
• Being highly motivated, team oriented, and able to work in an interdisciplinary team in an international context.
• Excellent writing skills in English.
• This is a full-time position and the applicant should also have successfully obtained an APA scholarship in order to qualify for the $5,000 per annum top-up.
• Successful candidates should be available to commence from January 2012.

Scholarship Description: We invite applications for two PhD projects at the Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre (MNC), University of Melbourne. These projects are being conducted as part of a National Health and Medical Research (NHMRC) funded research program investigating executive control processes and brain function in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and problem gambling (Principle Investigator: A/Prof Murat Yücel).
