I served this community as an academic pharmacist for about a year then upon the request of the nearby and newly established university (JJU) in the region I was transferred to play my professional role as an instructor of pharmacology, Biochemistry and other related courses for undergraduate Nurses and public health students(in east Africa its known as Health officers), After I joined the university almost for about a year it was my most challenging times in my new life b/se the university was newly established with less human resources. so all duties and responsibilities of the college were also left on my shoulder as the pharmacy department was established by my great effort while I was in the college, so that my day and night dream was all about how to strengthen the newly established pharmacy department at the college as well as the health faculty at JJu, just not only to be an instructor at both places. In terms of research, so far except my undergraduate thesis, as there is no research oriented fertile scientific ground in the university and insignificant senior experts to consult with, I did not do any scientific research apart from the curricular activities. However my academic background as a pharmacology instructor, role to establish the pharmacy department and my significant role to strengthen the public health faculty and the scarcity of human resources in the region particularly in my profession make apparent to me that a masters program in in clinical pharmacy/pharm D is the most appropriate for me in further facilitating my career development. I am a male Malawian aged 33years qualified Mechanical Fitter/Technician who has undergone apprenticeship training at Carlsberg Malawi Brewery Ltd for three years from Lilongwe Technical College from January 1999 up to December 2001. And also working with the same Company for four years, from January 2002 up to February 2006 as a Maintenance Fitter/Technician. And from 1 March 2006 up to date I am an employee of Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM ) working as Mechanical & Electrical Fitter.
