Scholarship Description: The Mattel Children’s Foundation is proud to sponsor a scholarship program designed to assist and encourage children of Mattel employees worldwide to pursue higher education. Scholarships are offered for full-time study at a post-secondary institution of the student’s choice. Selection is merit based. Dependent children of regular full-time and part-time employees who have a minimum of six months employment with the company as of the application deadline date are eligible to apply. The program helps recognize and support the scholastic potential of those who seek an advanced education worldwide.
Eligibility: Dependent children of regular full-time and part-time employees who have a minimum of six months employment with the company as of the application deadline date are eligible to apply for scholarship assistance. Children of employees who hold a title of vice president or higher are not eligible to apply for these awards. Students who are currently enrolled in post-secondary programs or will be enrolled before April 30, 2011 are eligible to apply. Official proof of admission to a recognized educational institution is required before scholarship funds become available. All fields of study are acceptable under these scholarships if offered at recognized universities or vocational schools.
