Eligibility:
Anyone thinking of starting a Construction related degree course in Autumn 2011 can apply for a CITB-ConstructionSkills Inspire Scholarship, which offers:
-A grant of up to 6,000 to support you during your university years. Plus most employers pay a pro-rata wage whilst on placement.
-A recommended annual 10-week work placement with your sponsoring employer each summer.
-Mentoring support from your employer throughout your studies.
-Entrance to a competition in your first year with a cash prize – helping support you in your studies.
-The opportunity to leave university with an outstanding and much sought after degree.
-A chance to land a job with your sponsoring employer when you leave university.
The CITB-ConstructionSkills scholarship is available for bright, motivated and ambitious students, who show the potential to succeed in the construction industry. Please note that the Scholarship is only open to UK Citizens for a first time degree and to those with a predicted minimum of 280 UCAS points.
