Scholarship Description:The Taiwan International Graduate Program is pleased to invite applications to our 2011 Summer Internship Program (TIGP-SIP). The TIGP is a unique all-English Ph.D. program supported by Academia Sinica, Taiwan’s most prestigious research institution. In collaboration with top-ranking local research universities the TIGP would like to invite young talents from around the globe to experience Taiwan’s top-notch scientific research facilities and to jointly build up an intellectual network for people with different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Over a two-months period in the summer of 2011, the TIGP is offering up to 60 internship opportunities in eight Ph.D. programs.

Launched in 2009, the TIGP-SIP is an intensive pre-doctoral research training program that prepares its participating interns with necessary knowledge and skills for future research or career development through rigorous hands-on training.
