Eligibility:
- The selection will be made on the basis of academic merit and are available to New Zealand citizens or Permanent Residents only.
- Two scholarships will be awarded annually to students of French, German, Spanish or Italian.
- They will be awarded to two of: – Top performing 300-level student/s of French, German, Spanish or Italian who intend to enrol in one of the above at Honours level the following year – Top performing student/s of French, German, Spanish or Italian who have completed an Honours research paper and intend to enrol in a Masters programme for one of the above in the following year

Scholarship Open for International Students: No

Scholarship Description: These scholarships have been established at Victoria University through a bequest made by Ariadne Danilow. To encourage students to continue with their studies at Honours or Masters level in French, German, Spanish or Italian
