Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Biology/Biochemistry (or an equivalent scientific degree), be highly motivated, independent and should be able to integrate and work as part of a team. Excellent background in cardiovascular and molecular biology as well as fluently spoken English is essential and required. Experience in working with human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS), tissue engineering and a good knowledge of non-coding RNA biology are highly desirable.
Duration of Awards: The post is available for 3 years initially, but this may be extended to 5 years.
What does it cover? The appointment will be made on the Grade 6 scale; £38,304 per annum, inclusive of £39,345 London Allowance, per annum.
