Educational Testing Service (ETS) is offering 24 TOEFL Scholarships for excellent Korean students. Scholarships are for pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies in Korea and/or overseas for the 2013 academic school year. Twenty-four US$3,000 TOEFL Scholarships will be awarded. The applicant should hold a grade point average of 80 or higher on a 100-point scale, or a 3.0 grade point average or higher on a 4-point scale. High school students must have a level of 1-3 on a 9-level scale in any three subjects in their last semester.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the 2013 TOEFL Scholarship Program, individuals must:
currently live in Korea
-complete the online scholarship application (new this year) and upload academic transcripts
-hold a grade point average of 80 or higher on a 100-point scale, or a 3.0 grade point average or higher on a 4-point scale. High school students must have a level of 1-3 on a 9-level scale in any three subjects in their last semester.
-begin an undergraduate or graduate degree in 2013 at a college or university listed in the TOEFL® Destinations Directory (PDF)
-have a valid TOEFL test score used as a requirement for admission into an undergraduate or graduate program
-demonstrate effective leadership skills and an overall well-rounded portfolio with extracurricular activities, including community service.
Scholarship Open for International Students: The Korean students can apply for the scholarship.
Scholarship Description: For the fifth consecutive year, Educational Testing Service (ETS), the creator of the TOEFL® test, announced the launch of the TOEFL® Scholarship Program in Korea. The scholarship program honors TOEFL test takers in Korea who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.ETS will recognize 24 deserving students by awarding a total of US$72,000 in funding for undergraduate or graduate study in Korea and/or overseas for the 2013 academic school year.”ETS is committed to working with Korean students as they learn English, the global language of choice,” commented Walt MacDonald, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “Since the inception of our scholarship program in 2008, ETS has awarded US$560,000 in scholarship funding to students in Korea as they continue to pursue their educational aspirations.
