2013 ACAS/ Coca-Cola Agriculture Scholarships at University of Tafe in Australia

The Australian Council of Agricultural Societies (ACAS) and Coca-Cola Amatil have been supporting Australian students studying in agriculture related fields for the past 7 years. Up to 35 scholarships of $2000 each are offered annually to pursue further education at University or Tafe. Agricultural Societies offer young people the opportunity to be involved with their local community, gain valuable agricultural experience, and learn about emerging opportunities in Australian agriculture.

Study Subject(s): Supporting Australian students studying in agriculture related fields.
Course Level: Scholarships are offered to pursue further education in an agriculture related field at University or Tafe.
Scholarship Provider: Coca-Cola and the Australian Council of Agricultural Societies.
Scholarship can be taken at: Australia.

Eligibility:
-Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
-Be Studying at Tafe or Uni in a agriculture related field
-Be a current member of a Show Society

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: Scholarships are open to any Australian citizen or permanent resident who:-is studying a topic related to Agriculture at University or Tafe.

Scholarship Description: Scholarships are awarded on a state basis. The purpose of these scholarships is to support rural youth to complete their tertiary studies in courses that will benefit regional Australia. Scholarships to the value of $2,000 is awarded to selected students to pursue further education in an agriculture related field at University or Tafe.

Number of award(s): Up to thirty five (35) scholarships are awarded.

What does it cover? Each year up to 35 young people are awarded scholarships to the value of $2,000 .

Notification: Applications should be sent on line or by mail, and winners are notified by mail a few weeks prior to the date of the Royal Show in their Capital City. If your application is successful you will be notified in writing about how to claim your scholarship.

How to Apply: Applications should be submitted by post or by e-mail.

Scholarship Application Deadline: Deadline for submitting applications is 15th Feb 2013 for NSW applicants and 30th June 2013 all other states.
