2013 Archaeology and Ancient History Masters Degree Part-Fee Bursaries in UK

University of Leicester offers grants for UK/EU and international students who want to pursue a master’s degree in UK. The bursaries cover a amount of £1,000 which is payable as a reduction of the course fee. The bursaries are open to master’s students in the field of Archaeology and Ancient History which include Archaeology (with pathways in Prehistory, Bioarchaeology, and Medieval Archaeology), Archaeology of the Roman World, Historical Archaeology, Classical Mediterranean. Applicants must be able to commence their studies in September 2013.

-Students must have completed secondary (high school) or tertiary (further/higher) education in one of the following countries: Anguilla, Fiji, Singapore, Antigua and Barbuda, Gambia, South Africa, Australia, Gibraltar, St Kitts and Nevis, Bahamas, Grenada, St Lucia, Barbados, Guyana, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Ireland Swaziland, Bermuda, Jamaica, Tanzania, Botswana, Kenya, Tonga, British Virgin Islands, Lesotho, Trinidad and Tobago, Canada, Malawi, Turks and Caicos Islands, Cayman Islands, Malta, Uganda, Christmas Island, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Cocos Islands, Niue, USA, Cook Islands, Norfolk Islands Zambia, Dominica, Papua New Guinea, Zimbabwe, Falkland Islands or Sierra Leone country.
-Students must have qualified in English language tests.

Scholarship Description: School of Archaeology and Ancient History offers scholarships for Masters programme for International UK/EU Students to pursue full time course in the College. The bursaries are offered for the students  to pursue Archaeology (with pathways in Prehistory, Bioarchaeology, and Medieval Archaeology), Archaeology of the Roman World, Historical Archaeology, Classical Mediterranean.

Number of Awards: 4 scholarships are awarded.
