-be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia;
-have had at least two years’ experience working in the mining and resources industry;
-be aged 25 or older on 1 March (for Semester 1 entry) or 1 August (for Semester 2 entry) of the year the scholarship is awarded; and
-be enrolled in an undergraduate degree course at the Unviersity.

Scholarship Description: Catherine Callow has donated funds to The University of Western Australia (`the University’) to provide the Centenary Trust for Women Kate Sommerville Undergraduate Scholarships in honour of Kate Sommerville, a woman in the mining and resources industry who has helped Ms Callow during her career. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and assist mature age women who have had at least two years’ experience working in the mining and resources industry and who are experiencing educational disadvantage to undertake an undergraduate degree course including honours, if applicable, at the University.
