Eligibility: –Applicants must have a first-class or high upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent qualification) in history or a relevant discipline and meet the University’s Standard English language entry requirements. It is expected that applicants will have a relevant Masters degree with merit or distinction or be able to show evidence that they will achieve this before October 2013.
-It is desirable that applicants should have teaching experience/experience in the delivery of field training.
-This post  is open to suitable UK/EU and International (i.e., outside the EU) applicants. Please note though that the award covers tuition fees at the UK/EU rate only. International applicants (and those not eligible to pay UK/EU tuition fees) must demonstrate at the time of their application that they can fund the difference in tuition fee rates.
-The post is for full-time study only and applicants must be able to commence their studies in October 2013.

This post will pay full-time University UK/EU tuition fees for four years and include an annual maintenance grant and salary. This award is open to suitable new UK/EU and International (i.e., outside the EU) applicants. Please note though that the award covers tuition fees at the UK/EU rate only. International applicants (and those not eligible to pay UK/EU tuition fees) must demonstrate at the time of their application that they can fund the difference in tuition fee rates. Funding for this post is available for four years from 1 October 2013. Appointment to the post is subject to formal confirmation that you are registered, and continue to be registered for the duration of your post as a full-time student with the University of Leicester.
