Eligibility:
– Meet all requirements for admission to the College.
– Have parents who reside in Aghios Vassilios of the prefecture of Arcadia, or in Vlahiotis, Skala, or Gythio in the prefecture of Laconia. If there are no candidates from this area, applicants from the Laconia prefecture will be considered. (Proof of parent’s residence is required.)
– Have graduated from a lyceum in one of the designated areas. (One copy of the High School Diploma is required.)
– Demonstrate financial need.

Scholarship Description: These scholarships were endowed in 1997 by Nick and George M. Bapis in memory of their father, Michael N. Bapis, who believed strongly in the importance of education. Michael N. Bapis was born in the village of Aghios Vassilios in the prefecture of Arcadia, Greece. The scholarships are meant to assist an entering Greek student who needs financial assistance to complete his or her college education and whose parents reside in the area of the honoree’s birthplace.

Number of awards offered:Four scholarships are awarded periodically.

Tenure of awards: Full tuition reduction for the duration of the recipients’ studies at the College.

Value:100% tuition reduction.
