Scholarship Description: One position as PhD student fellow (SKO 1017) in Neuroscience is available for 3 years in the Synaptic Neurochemistry Laboratory at the Department of Anatomy, IMB, University of Oslo (UiO). The laboratory studies basic aspects of brain signalling and metabolism, including their importance in normal aging and brain diseases.The Institute of Basic Medical Sciences consists of different departments engaged in basic and translational science, as well as education of medical students, dental students, and students of nutrition. The institute has approximately 340 employees and is located in the Domus Medica.
