-We welcome applications in any of the above areas. We are looking for outstanding candidates with a top quality honours/masters degree in finance, banking, economics, or econometrics.
-The AUT Business School has access to major financial databases, among others, Compustat, Datastream, I/B/E/S, Osiris, BankScope, SIRCA, etc. Successful candidates will contribute to the teaching and research within the Department.
Scholarship Open for International Students: Scholarship is open for both domestic and international students
Scholarship Description: The Auckland Centre for Financial Research and the Department of Finance, AUT Business School, AUT University, are pleased to offer three PhD scholarships in Finance. The major areas of our expertise are in corporate finance and governance, financial econometrics, financial markets, behavioural finance, market micro-structure, financial risk management, and banking.
Number of Awards: 3 Scholarships Available
Tenure of Awards: Fixed Term (3 year term)
Value : The scholarships consist of an annual stipend of NZ$ 25,000 plus tuition fees (for both domestic and international students).
