Scholarship Description: Position involves research work on projects related to applications of laser spectroscopy to biology and medicine. The main idea of research work is to explore the interface of light and life (bio+ photonics) to identify the functioning of smallest living systems of life, like cells and tissues. FT-IR and Raman Imaging based microscopic systems have been under utilization to understand the behavior of physiological systems under diseased and normal conditions.
