Eligibility:- For all postgraduate degrees you will normally need to have obtained, or be expected to achieve, a second class UK honours degree or overseas equivalent.
-If your first language is not English, you’ll be required to demonstrate your English language level through a recognised qualification.
-If your English language results are slightly below the required level for your course, you can attend a pre-sessional English language course, meaning you won’t have to retake any exams.

The Department is able to make a number of scholarship awards this year to students accepted for the MPhil/PhD degree. These awards are available both to full-time and part-time students.

Duration of award: Fellowship is offered for 3 years.
What does it cover? Reid Scholarship: This scholarship covers fees at Home/EU rate, plus maintenance of £13,250 per annum.
Crosslands awards: The Department plans to make three of these awards, which cover fees at the home/EU rate and a contribution of £5000 towards maintenance.
