2013 School of International Service Summer Abroad Scholarships for SIS Graduate Students

American University, School of International Service offers summer abroad scholarships for SIS graduate students to study abroad. Approximately ten (10) awards of up to $1,650 each will be awarded. Each award will be used to offset the cost of attendance at one of these programs. Awards will be based on scholastic achievement, commitment to advancing global service and/or improving international relations, strong motivation for participation in SIS Summer Abroad Program, AU faculty and financial need. The application deadline is March 4, 2013.

Scholarship Description: The School of International Service is pleased to announce the fourth annual competition for study abroad scholarships funded by the School. Approximately ten (10) awards of up to approximately $1,650 each will be given to SIS graduate students who can demonstrate scholastic achievement, a commitment to global service, strong motivation for studying abroad, and financial need, and who will be participating in a SIS Summer Abroad 2013 Program in South Africa, Malaysia and Indonesia, Israel, Cuba, Brussels, Geneva, and Azerbaijan. Each award will be used to offset the cost of attendance at one of these programs.
