University of Aberdeen is offering a number of PhD scholarships for applicants of any nationality. Scholarships are awarded in the fields of Arts and Social Sciences, Life Sciences and Medicine and Physical Sciences. To be eligible for an Elphstone Scholarship applicant need to have the equivalent to a UK 1st class Honours undergraduate degree or an Upper Second (2.1) Honours undergraduate degree alongside a Masters with Merit or Distinction. The application deadline is 30th April 2015.

Eligibility:  Eligibility for an Elphinstone Scholarship is based on academic excellence. Applicants must have the equivalent to a UK 1st class or an Upper Second (2.1) Honours undergraduate degree and/or a Masters with Commendation/Merit or Distinction.

Scholarship Open for International Students: Applicants of any nationality are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

What does it cover? These Scholarships cover the tuition fees for a PhD student of any nationality commencing full-time study in October 2015, for the three-year duration of your studies.

-The name of the lead supervisor in the Name of Proposed Supervisor section
-The title of the specific research project in the Outline Summary section
