Darwin College is inviting applications for Moses and Mary Finley Research Fellowship with effect from 1 October 2015.
The program is intended for a UK outstanding researcher who wants to research degree program. The award for research into the ancient history of the Mediterranean world and/or the near East, down to the end of the 6th century AD.

Applicants need to submit a curriculum vitae, an account, in not more than 1000 words, of the proposed research, including any plans for fieldwork, which should include a brief statement of the aims of the research and the background to it, the names and contact details of two referees, who should be asked by the candidate to email a reference at once direct to the college on rf-references-at-darwin.cam.ac.uk; and a list of published or unpublished work that would be available for submission if requested.
Benefit
The scholars will receive the award amount for travel and research expenses up to a maximum of £1,000.
