Imam Bukhari and Imam Tirmizi Visiting Research Fellowships in UK, 2015

Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies is funding research fellowships for the Asian or African citizens. Preference will be given to those studying classical Islamic sciences, although other areas in the humanities and social sciences will be considered. The Fellowships will be tenable from 1 October 2015 for a minimum period of three months. Each Fellowship carries a stipend of £3,000 and membership of the Common Room. Application should be submitted till 6th December 2014.

Study Subject(s): Fellowships are awarded within the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies. Preference will be given to those studying classical Islamic sciences, although other areas in the humanities and social sciences will be considered.
Course Level: The Imam Bukhari and Imam Tirmizi Research Fellows will be expected to devote their time to research and writing and to participate in the Centre’s academic activities.
