60 Positions in International PhD Program – Germany
Hannover Biomedical Research School, as part of Hannover Medical School (MHH), invites applications for the above PhD studentships, to commence in October 2009.
The three-year study programs, taught in English, are aimed at post-graduates in Medicine, Veterinary Medicine as well as those from Life Science fields. The PhD program “Regenerative Sciences” is also open to students from the various disciplines of Materials Sciences. As well as working on a 3-year research project, students also attend seminars, lab and soft-skill courses, congresses, symposia and summer schools. Successful candidates will be awarded a PhD, alternatively Dr. rer. nat. Scholarships are to be fully funded by the DFG (Excellence Initiative), MHH, partner institutes and their respective departments.
We are looking for highly-motivated candidates who have an active interest in one of the fields associated with one or more of the programs on offer. Excellent written and spoken English skills are required. With nearly two thirds of our students coming from outside Germany, international applicants are welcome. I have finished 7 years of medical study at Assuit medical school at 2004, and finished 4 years of professional practice at the orthopaedic department and the trauma unit. I took the master degree in management of neglected cases of developmental dysplasia of the hip.
At our hospital we have a trauma center that serves more than 2 million people on primary bases and receives referred cases from all other hospitals in Upper Egypt. More than 5600 of trauma patients have done their operations at the trauma unit last year.

I am Anil Kumar, pursuing Ph.D (Pharmaceutics) in the research area of Nano drug formulation for cancer targeting under UGC project from well reputed University , Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, Hamdard University (Accredited by NAAC in ‘A’ Category), India. I have also completed my M. Pharma and B Pharma from same University. The research topic of my M Pharma dissertation was ‘Formulation and development of Nanoemulsion for treatment of acne vulgaris’. I have also worked with Panacea Biotec Ltd. as a Research Associate in Formulation Research Development Department for 7 month. I have qualified GATE (Conducted by IIT, Kharagpur) and currently have two international publications in peer reviewed journal. Now I am looking forward to get a Fellowship up to 12 month in the same field to carry out some part of my research in Foreign University. So I can learn more technique and emphasize more on my research. Kindly inform me if any one have information related for the same.
