­The University of Bradford is now accepting applications for Academic AAA and AAB Scholarships to study in the UK. There are is no limit to the number of scholarships available – all students who are eligible will receive the award.

The aim of the scholarship is to provide financial aid to Home/EU students. Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.

Eligibility

The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

  • All Home and EU students who achieve AAB or higher in their A-Levels or equivalent (from three Level 3 qualifications only) – for a list of all qualifications and their equivalencies see the documents below:

    • EU Qualifications equivalent to AAA and AAB 2017-18
    • EU Qualifications equivalent to AAA and AAB 2017-18
  • Please note, the AAB Scholarship is linked to the grades you achieve, it is not linked to your offer or your UCAS tariff points.
  • If you have a combination of three levels 3 qualifications which are not listed or if your country of domicile or qualification is not listed, please email us at AABscholarship-at-bradford.ac.uk to see if you are eligible.
  • Students must be commencing on their first, full-time undergraduate degree program in September 2017.
  • Students who transfer to us from another university will not be eligible for the scholarship unless they transfer into stage 1 of their program i.e. foundation year or first year.
  • If you already hold a degree then you cannot be considered for the scholarship.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: You don’t need to apply – students will be assessed for the scholarship automatically shortly after A-level results in August 2017.
  • Admission Requirements: All Home and EU students who achieve AAB or higher in their A-Levels or equivalent (from three Level 3 qualifications only).
  • Language Requirements: The standard University requirement is 6.0* with no sub-test less than 5.0 (or equivalent) on the IELTS or on the university’s own entry test the BASALT. However, if you require a Tier 4 (student) visa to study you will need to meet the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) department’s requirement which is currently IELTS 6.0 with no sub-test less than 5.5. Conditional offers to international students will be made on this basis.

Benefit: The University of Bradford is offering cash scholarships worth up to £3,500 (over the duration of a three-year degree) to all Home and EU students who achieve AAB or higher in their A-levels (or equivalent).
