I am Markos Bassa Alaro, 27 and an Ethiopian. I graduated from Arba Minch University and owned BA degree in Economics & I have also forestry diploma and graduated with distinction in both: CGPA of 3.56 in Economics(2008) BA & 3.61in forestry diploma(2002). I am a program coordinator and working at church based local NGO in Ethiopia . I need to continue my MSc degree In Environmental & Resource Economics( related) in any European/American/Australian universities and help my country after having this MSc degree. But, my current economic situation does not allow me to learn by myself. Therefore, I need a free scholarship that will cover all required costs. I am lucky enough if I get the chance to join it as I am eager to upgrade my skill.

Application for scholarship

I am writing this application letter from Ethiopia. My name is Eshetu Hailu. I am 29 years old. I hold a B.SC Degree in Plant Production and Dry Land farming from a recognized government university Called Debub University, Faculty of Agriculture. I have a 7 years work experience in NGO (Non Governmental Organization) called World vision Ethiopia. I have been working in this organization as Agricultural Program Facilitator, Area Development Program Officer, Area Development Program Coordinator and Area Development Program Manager in different regions of the country, Ethiopia.

I have recently gained admission to the university of Leeds in London to do an MSC in GIS for business consultancy with my background in Geography and resource development with sociology . i am due to pay £19000 for both the course and my maintenance fee i have tried applying for several scholarships with the school but there has been no positive response, i am due to start come this September so i desperately need support with any kind of funds since my future is on the line. if there is anyone who is in the position to help please contact me as soon as possible and if it even helps i will pay back the money after completion of my one year course due to a much better salary i will be receiving. i really need help , i know this is far fetched but please find it in your heart to get back to me asap.
