The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is offering master scholarships for citizens of Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand. These scholarships are available in the field of  Gender and Development Studies (GDS) at the School of Environment, Resource and Development (SERD) for August 2016 Intake.

The mission of AIT in the context of the emerging environment is “to develop highly qualified and committed professionals who will play a leading role in the sustainable development of the region and its integration into the global economy”.

  • Course Level:  Master degree
  • Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the field of Gender and Development Studies (GDS) at School of Environment, Resource and Development (SERD) in August 2016 intake.

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for this Scholarship:-

  • Applicants from Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand
  • TOEFL score of 210 (computer-based) or IELTS writing and overall score 6 or equivalent or AIT English Entry Test
  • Four-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is required.
  • Applicants are interested in becoming part of the above project and work on their thesis around gender analysis of labour migration and Special Economic Zones in the Mekong Region.

English language Requirements: Applicants must have a TOEFL score of 210 (computer-based) or IELTS writing and overall score 6 or equivalent or AIT English Entry Test.
