With the Akron Guarantee Scholarship (right), the scholarship is guaranteed as long as you maintain a 2.0 at UA, and it increases every year for four years, rewarding you for your success. Now you have a better chance of graduating in four years.

- How to Apply: You will be considered for the Akron Guarantee International Scholarship using the information supplied on your application for admission, including your SAT or ACT scores. In other words, there is no separate application for the Akron Guarantee International Scholarship. You will be considered automatically!
- Admission Requirement: Applicants must have a previous degree.
- Language Requirement: All undergraduate international applicants must provide evidence of English language proficiency, unless they are a citizen of an exempt country, by meeting the minimum score from one of the following acceptable tests: the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), the Scholastic Aptitude Test Evidence-Based Verbal (SAT), the American College Test English (ACT), the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE), Pearson Test of English Proficiency Academic (PTE) or the Michigan English Laboratory Assessment Battery (MELAB).
