Prominent universities run the gamut of Animation scholarships from hobby to professional animation. Students undertaking careers in animation will need to complete common graphic coursework and computer designing, as well as drawing and traditional illustration, film and photographic techniques. JMC Academy Undergraduate Scholarship Programme
JMC Academy’s 3D Animation course will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and deep critical and creative thinking needed to excel in this dramatically expanding area. The application will open in February.

The Arts University Bournemouth Master’s Scholarships
Arts University Bournemouth offers scholarships for all master’s programmes. Applicant should the demonstrable high level of past achievement either in education or through professional experience such as employment or in creative practice. Total offer is of £1500 for all Master’s Program except Animation Production £2000 and Film Production £3000. Scholarships will be available in January.

JMC Academy Diploma in Animation
The Diploma course will introduce you to the art and practice of animation in both its 2D and 3D glory. In trimesters 1 and 2 you will be able to get hands-on with the design and development of characters and worlds you may have previously only imagined, using drawing and visualisation techniques. The application will open in February.

JMC Academy Animation Scholarships
JMC Academy Creative Industries is offering animation scholarships for the Australian students. JMC Academy’s scholarships cover the tuition fees for the first year of study. 18 scholarships are offered each year. Applicants must have demonstrated an interest in pursuing a career in the creative industries. The application deadline is 18th December.

Randy Pausch Scholarship Fund
The Randy Pausch Scholarship fund for undergraduate and graduate studies program is offered by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences. Two scholarships worth of $2,500 is offered. The students of USA can apply for these animation scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of completed application, required documentation, specific criteria and weighted criteria. Applications will open in March.

3D Character Animation Scholarships in Denmark
The 3D Character Animation course is supported by the MEDIA Programme of the EU. The Animation Workshop offers accommodation and/or travel scholarships to eligible course applicants. The last date for submitting applications is 4th December.

Chancellor’s International Scholarships in Animation
The university of Hertfordshire is offering 60 Chancellor’s international scholarships, worth £2,000 each. The scholarship is available for all new full-time students who have been assessed as overseas for fee purposes, who are self-funded and who have been issued an offer to study at the University of Hertfordshire. The value of the Chancellor’s International Scholarship is £2,000.

AIE Animation Scholarships
Academy of Interactive Entertainment is funding animation scholarships for the students of USA. Needs-based scholarships may be available for up to 50% of tuition. To qualify for the needs-based scholarship all applicants must complete the financial aid application on the FAFSA website. Applications will be considered for the 2016-2017 school year in the fall. The last date for submitting applications is 5 February.

AIT Undergraduate Animation Scholarships
Academy of Information Technology is offering two animation scholarships for undertaking undergraduate degree The scholarship will be equal to 2/4 terms of study. This works out to be 50% of your full-time study tuition fees for the first two academic terms. Students of Australia can apply for these scholarships.

Waubonsee Community College Foundation Animation Scholarships
The Waubonsee Community College Foundation is offering scholarships to students planning to study in the Associate in Applied Science program areas at Waubonsee. The scholarships provide $500 credit for tuition. Applicants must have a minimum 2.75 high school or college grade-point average. The closing date for scholarship applications is June 27.
