Mentors play an enormous role in the lives of both students and professionals. Often times, it goes unrewarded. EOS is trying to change that trend by recognizing those individuals who provide support and guidance to increasing professional diversity in fisheries and natural resources fields of study. We are now accepting applications for the annual EOS Mentor Award in Professional Diversity in Fisheries and Natural Resources. We encourage you to nominate your professor or colleague whom you think is worthy of this esteemed award. Closing date for applications is June 15, 2009.
