I was born and grew up in such a country where nature binds with the life stile of the society. When I was a child, I haven’t gained perception values to notices what I see around, but I used to sketch on a rough paper and at the back of my pad. On the other hand, my father is a painter. He used to let me do what I wanted and restricted him self from influencing me. When I joined the high school, I started to participate in many art competition, among these I won three competition forwarded by UNFPA- FNUAP, the rest two were local competitions. At that teenager hood, I developed perceiving things the way people don’t see in a very artistic manner. What was silly for my friends became important and surprising to me. I used to notice details and harmony in a vary natural way. After I took E.S.L.C.E/ Ethiopian school leaving certificate/ I new that I was not good at the rest of the courses so my intention was only and only to pass the interans exam to join the art school. But the other problem was the probability to join the university was so tight that the school only accepts twenty five students among 700-1000 competitors. Trying to join the art school two or three time is common for most competitors, but I can able to join at my second trial. I was so happy at the time and my father was too. At the moment of ecstasy, I visualize my time colorful and harmonized art life letting go. My previous colorless life away. I started thinking of the idle brushes and canvas, clearing their dusts to create a very natural life in harmony. After four years of training, I graduated from ADDIS ABABA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS AND DESIGN with Bachelor of Fine Arts. Currently, I am practicing in private art studio. Now, those societal diversities and natural features that was silent when I was a child whispers in my mind.

“Hello the empty cup, can you think of being some where in the middle of no where? Can you achieve a master touch being bounded by ample constraints and challenges? Can you be simple with out being easy or complex?” I used to hear such sounds coming from no where telling me to fall in the fertile land deepening my roots and growing my leaves to give shadow and fruit.
