Royal Thai Government is inviting applications for RTG fellowship from Thai students. Fellowships are available for Master and Doctoral degree programs at Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand.

It is vision of the Royal Thai Government (RTG) to prepare the country and its people for the emerging ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Through its no-bond RTG Fellowships at AIT, it seeks to prepare its engineers, scientists and managers to become global citizens and emerge as key drivers of Thailand’s international competitiveness.

Course Level: Fellowships are available for Master and Doctoral degree programs at Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand.

Study Subject: Fellowships are available for students applying for postgraduate programs offered at AIT’s School of Engineering and Technology (SET); School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD); and School of Management (SOM) at the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand.

GPA ? 3.00 (other universities)

50% 376,000 Baht (covers 2 semesters, student pays same amount for 2 semesters) GPA ? 2.75 (other universities)

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for scholarship:

  • Thai national only.
  • Having English proficiency not lower than IELTS 5 or equivalent or AIT English Entry Test. For students admitted with IELTS lower than 6.0, they required to take English class to fulfill the Exit requirement of IELTS 6.0.
  • Four-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is required.
  • MBA applicants require an additional one-years relevant work experience.

RTG Fellowships for Doctoral Degree

§  Applicants should have a Cumulative GPA of 3.50 in their Master’s degree and 2.75 in their undergraduate program from top universities*(3.00 for other universities).

Thai nationals are eligible for these RTG fellowships.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have four-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is required.

English language Requirements: Applicants must have English proficiency not lower than IELTS 5 or equivalent or  AIT English Entry Test. For students admitted with IELTS lower than 6.0, they required to take English class to fulfill the Exit requirement of IELTS 6.0.
