2018 Australia Scholarship at Oxford University, UK

The Oxford University is accepting applications for Australia Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is available to Australian applicants for pursuing undergraduate degree programme.

The Oxford Australia Scholarship Fund was established in the 1990s with donations from Australians who have studied at Oxford and, in particular, from Mr. James Fairfax AC. The University of Oxford aims to lead the world in research and education. The university seeks to do this in ways which benefit society on a national and a global scale.

Applicant must supply suitable evidence that they meet the English language requirement for their course (or, if eligible, they can request a waiver of the requirement), if:
-their first language is not English, or their first language is English but they are not a national of a majority English-speaking country recognised by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).

Course Level: Scholarship is awarded to pursue undergraduate degree programme.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded to learn any of the courses offered by the university.

Scholarship Award: The value of the scholarship is normally AUD$12,000 P/A, which will contribute towards living expenses.
-Awards are made for the full duration of a student’s fee liability for the agreed course.oxfordlogo

Eligibility: Applicants can apply for this scholarship if they meet the given criteria:-

-The scholarship is open to Australian citizens who are ordinarily resident in Australia and who have not previously studied outside of Australia.
-Applicants must be applying to start a full-time second BA.

Nationality: Australian applicants are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement:  In order to apply applicants must be Australian citizens who are ordinarily resident in Australia and who have not previously studied outside of Australia.

English Requirement: Applicant must supply suitable evidence that they meet the English language requirement for their course (or, if eligible, they can request a waiver of the requirement), if:
-their first language is not English, or  their first language is English but they are not a national of a majority English-speaking country recognised by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).

Test Requirement: The University only accepts certain standardized tests, with results at or above scores provided on the university website. IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT*, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE), and Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE). The University will verify all IELTS and TOEFL results directly with the test provider; if you have uploaded a CPE or CAE, you will be asked to supply the original document if you are admitted to the course.

Applicants need to complete a separate scholarship application form and arrange for two references to be submitted on your behalf (these documents together with guidance notes will be available to download from the right-hand side of this page). Please note that we cannot consider applications from candidates who have not been offered a place at Oxford.
