$25, 000 KIT DENTON FELLOWSHIP 2009: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

The Australian Writers’ Foundation (AWF) has called for applications for the 2009 Kit Denton Fellowship.

The $25, 000 Fellowship was created in 2007 to honour the work and memory of Kit Denton, a respected and admired member of the writing community. The father of media personality Andrew Denton, Kit was a lifetime member of the Australian Writers’ Guild, a scriptwriter, author, poet and lyricist. His most famous work was The Breaker, an international best selling novel about the trial and execution of Breaker Morant.

Entries for the Kit Denton Fellowship open Wednesday 8 April and close 5.00pm Friday 15 May. For more information and to download a entry form and guidelines please go to www.awg.com.au.
