Belgian American Educational Foundation Fellowships for US Citizens in Belgium, 2015-2016

The Belgian American Educational Foundation (B.A.E.F.) is inviting applications for fellowships for advanced study or research during one academic year, at a Belgian University or institution of higher learning. The fellowship is open only for citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Preference is given to applicants under the age of 30 and Knowledge of Dutch, French, or German is optional. The B.A.E.F. will award up to nine fellowships each carrying a stipend of $26,000 for one year. The application deadline is October 31, 2014.

Eligibility: Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
Applicants must: -either be registered in a graduate program towards a PhD or equivalent degree in the United States,
-or register in a graduate program in Belgium (Master’s or PhD) in Belgium,
-or hold a Master’s, PhD, or equivalent degree.
-Preference is given to applicants under the age of 30. Knowledge of Dutch, French, or German is optional.

Scholarship Open for International Students: The students of USA can apply for these fellowships.

Scholarship Description: The Belgian American Educational Foundation (B.A.E.F.) encourages applications for fellowships for advanced study or research during one academic year, at a Belgian University or institution of higher learning. The B.A.E.F. will award up to nine fellowships each carrying a stipend of $26,000 for one year. If the fellow chooses to remain less than the full 12 months, the stipend will be prorated accordingly. The fellowship period must be at least 6 months.
