University of Geneva Excellence Master Fellowships
The Faculty of science of the University of Geneva is awarding excellence master fellowships for students from any country. Fellowship is open to students from any university with very good performance in their studies and that have completed the Bachelor degree or expect to complete it within 6 months. The Excellence Fellowship consists of a grant amounting to CHF 10’000 to CHF 15’000/year (no teaching duties). Selection of the applicants will be based on excellence. The application deadline is 15 March, 2017.

Bayer Foundation is offering Otto Bayer Scholarships for undergraduate students in their advanced study period. Scholarships are granted exclusively to students from German-speaking countries wishing to study abroad and foreign applicants who want to study in Germany. Fully Funded PhD Studentship at University of York, UK
University of York is offering a fully funded PhD studentship for an October 2016 start. The studentship is available to UK and EU students who meet the UK residency requirements. This 3 year studentship offers ten projects in different areas of Biology and Biochemistry. The Graduate School of Quantitative Biosciences Munich is offering PhD fellowships for MSc graduates from any relevant discipline and any country who are interested in interdisciplinary research to apply. Applications from women are particularly encouraged. For all students admitted to the QBM program, participation is free: the School does not charge tuition or fees. QBM students receive financial support includes a fellowship package totaling about 1700 €/month in take-home pay, which permits an adequate standard even for the relatively high cost of living in Munich. In addition, the School provides financial support for educational and scientific activities such as conference travel, as well as relocation and child care expenses.

Medizini Hochschule Hannover Biochemistry Scholarships
Medizini Hochschule Hannover is funding biochemistry scholarships for pursuing PhD degree at the University of Hannover in Germany. To apply for the PhD programs at Hannover Biomedical Research School students first have to register. Online application from December 1st.

University of Bristol Biochemistry Scholarships
International students are eligible to apply for biochemistry scholarships at School of Biochemistry. Each scholarship will be to the value of £2000 per annum, payable towards tuition fee. The scholarship will be annually renewable subject to satisfactory academic progress, and may run for the full duration of the programme. 25 scholarships are available in the majority of Sussex Schools, and are awarded on the basis of academic performance and potential. The scholarships are offered for one year. Biochemistry scholarships are available for International students. The closing date for applications to be received is 3rd May.

Lois Ann Cofer-Monzingo Biochemistry Scholarship
The Cofer-Monzingo Scholarship is awarded to an entering first-year student who is a declared chemistry or biochemistry major and will be enrolled as a full time student their entire first year. The award is renewable up to a total of four years, provided that the student maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applications must be submitted by June 1.
