University of Wollongong offers Work Integrated Learning Scholarship to students for autumn 2013. Scholarships are offered in the field of material engineering for students enrolled in  full-time bachelor of engineering (Materials) at the University of Wollongong in 2013. Five (5) scholarships are offered for first year students and three (3) for 3rd year students. Application closing date is 4 March 2013. Scholarships are offered to Australian citizens.

Eligibility:
-Applicants must be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Engineering (Materials) at the University of Wollongong in 2013.
-Must be enrolled in 1st or 3rd year at Wollongong Campus
-Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence (high school) or currently maintain a credit average (minimum 65 WAM)
-Applicants must be available for work experience per time and arrangements set and agreed upon by Bradken, the university and student. As long as it does not pose any conflict with the student’s academic schedule.
-Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

Scholarship Description: Scholarship holders will be exposed to various parts of Bradken’s business during their work experience. To ensure all customers have access to local expertise of the very highest caliber, Bradken promotes a culture of continuous improvement and personal development.

Nunmber of award(s): Scholarship is offered to Five(5) First year students and Three(3) 3rd year students.

Duration of award(s): Four(4) years(this may vary according to each student appointed).

What does it cover? Scholarship starts with the minimum value of $11,000 for 1st year student,
$13,200 for 2nd year,
$15,400 for third year and
$17,600 for 4th year students.
