We are looking for a highly motivated PhD student interested in cancer immunology.
The position will be available in the research group of Dominik Wolf/Guenther Gastl at the lab of Tumorimmunology, Tyrolean Cancer Research Institute, Medical University Innsbruck.
Our main interest is the development of strategies circumventing regulatory T cell (Treg)-mediated immunosuppression in cancer immunotherapy. We preferentially use adoptive T cell transfer in murine tumor models, thus interest in work with animal tumor models is a prerequisite for this position. In addition, basic skills in immunological as well as molecular biology methods would be helpful.
The successful candidate will be integrated into our team consisting of biologists and medical doctors. Good communication skills, independence, and a sense of responsibility are required.
