Cardiff University is pleased to offer scholarships to undertake MSc programme in Physics/Astrophysics. Scholarships are awarded to students of any nationality.

Applicants must hold a 2:1 in a relevant subject. Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the English language (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent).

Scholarship Award: The awards are available for students on either programme, to a value of £3875 and will be allocated on a competitive basis. This award can be used in conjunction with other funding sources, including the Master’s Excellence Scholarship awards offered by Cardiff University. Eligible applicants are encouraged to apply for both schemes.

- Academic criteria:Applicants must hold a 2:1 in a relevant subject. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of mathematical, physical and computational ability. - Residency: This studentship is open to students of any nationality. Students classified as international for fee purposes have to self-fund the difference between home and international fees.

How to Apply: Consideration is automatic on applying for MSc Physics or MSc Astrophysics, with a start date of September 2016 via Cardiff University’s Online Application Service. In the funding section, please select “I will be applying for a scholarship / grant” and specify that you are applying for School Funding.
