It gives me immense pleasure in informing you that the *veterinary
Pharmacology and Toxicology*
department at Bombay Veterinary College, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India is
the pioneering & leading institute in India in the field of
Pharmacology and Toxicology. It is developed to train manpower having
a broad overview of the different aspects of Pharmacology and
Toxicology and to prepare students to take up their research career
in specific areas of Toxicology as well as in Pharmacology research.
I am a student of the same department (Dept. of Pharmacology and
Toxicology) of M.V.Sc. I have acquired a basic knowledge of General
Pharmacology, Physiology, Immunobiochemistry, Pathology,
Cardiovascular pharmacology as well as toxicology. I also have
acquired practical training in the above aspects as well as research
methodology and computational skills. I have exposed to handling
of Laboratory animals, their dosing by various routes, Various
toxicity studies, Experimental pharmacology study, To the some extend
Handling of High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC),
Histopathological techniques. I have acquired familiar with ECG
interpretation as well their recording in Laboratrory animals etc.
During my M.V.Sc. thesis work I have done Screening of QT prolonging
drugs for their arrhythmogenic potential in anesthetized rabbits. And
Stadardization rabbit animal models for Torsade de pointes in vivo as
well as in vitro. I have an Industrial experience (training) of
working in Safety Pharmacology under the department of Drug Safety
Evaluation at Ranbaxy Research Laboratry, Gurgaon, India.
In view of the outstanding contribution of your organization in field
of advanced research in Bioscience or pharmacology or toxicology, I
request you to kindly suggest me the procedure and formalities to
undergo to join your company or institute for my research career

I have finished my postgraduation in Biomedical Physiology Faculty of medicine University of Indonesia. My research topic was Evaluation of Curcumine activity as antioxidant on parameter cardiovascular in vitro on Guinea pig. Parameter activity cardiovasculer measuring from ECG recording using 8 channels .I am extremely intrested to do PhD in Cardiovascular research Institute. Hi,
I have completed my postgraduation in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Bharati Vidyapeeth, India. My research topic was Evaluation of Cardio protective activity of IND-08 and Coenzyme Q10 on chemically and experimentally induced cardiotoxicity
and cardiac hypertrophy in laboratory animals.
In Which I have studied Antiarrythmic Effect of Coenzymes Q-10 and IND-08 by measuring Concentration of digitalis (µg/kg) required to produce ectopic beat, ventricular fibrillation, and cardiac arrest. Parameters were measured from ECG recording using 8 channels Power Lab System (AD Instruments Pty Ltd, Unit 13, 18-22 Lexington Drive, Bella Vista NSW 2153, Australia). I am extremely intrested to do PhD in Cardiovascular research Institute. Can you give in formation about your institute as well as other which will provide fellowship for PhD.
