Applications are invited for choral scholarships available for male students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate program at any school of Durham University. Home, EU or international applicants are eligible. Choral Scholarships may be held in conjunction with other local authority or other similar awards. As a Choral Scholar applicants will be required to play an active part in the musical life of Durham. Cathedral Choral Scholarships are worth£1,540 in the first year, £1,840 in the second year and £2,150 for third and subsequent years. The application deadline is 9 February 2015.

Scholarship Description: 
Choral Scholarships are offered by the Chapter of Durham Cathedral to male students who obtain admission to one of the Colleges of the University. It is essential that candidates should be academically equipped to follow their chosen course of study at Durham, and those who seem unlikely to meet the Colleges’ academic requirements for admission will not be accepted as candidates for a Choral Scholarship.
