UNESCO / Israel (MASHAV) is pleased to offer range of scholarships to students of high academic ability for 2016 entry. Applicants of Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Comores, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Haiti, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritania, Niger, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Príncipe, Seychelles, Senegal, Chad and Togo are eligible to apply for these scholarships. This program is intended for women and 10 men aged 27-55 years with a university degree or professional training.

The aim of the fellowship is to strengthen the capacity of human resources in developing countries, and promote international understanding and friendship with the people of Israel.

A language certificate in duplicate issued by an official authority (British Council, Alliance Française, or qualified teacher of the language concerned). Inadequate knowledge of the language always leads to failure.

Course Level: This program is intended for women and 10 men aged 27-55 years with a university degree or professional training.

Study Subject: Fellowships are tenable in International Course on “Social Entrepreneurship as a tool for development Community”.

Scholarship Award:Financier contribution of MASHAV (Israel): Registration and training fees. Housing (two students per room), full board. transfer to and from the airport and Medical insurance and medical expenses first aid (not included dental treatment, those related to pregnancy, the purchase of eyeglasses and medical costs associated with chronic disease).
Financier contribution of UNESCO: The cost of international travel (at the most economical rate) from 2016 to 2017 as part of the Scholarship Program; and Special allowance of $ 100.
Note: The visa fees and other costs of accommodation, meals and insurance during (the) connection (s) and / or prolonged stay in Israel will not be covered by this grant.

Eligibility: This program is intended for women and 10 men aged 27-55 years with a university degree or professional training. To be eligible to apply for a scholarship:
-This program is intended for women and 10 men aged 27-55 years with a university degree or professional training in the areas of: management and administration, economics, social work or community development with at least 5 years experience in the work;
-This course is primarily intended for department heads and NGOs engaged in community projects for populations at the base, and in the organization, promotion and supervision of lucrative projects.

Nationality: Fellowships will be given only to residents of Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Comores, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Haiti, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritania, Niger, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Príncipe, Seychelles, Senegal, Chad and Togo.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: This program is intended for women and 10 men aged 27-55 years with a university degree or professional training in the areas of: management and administration, economics, social work or community development with at least 5 years experience in the work;

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirements: A language certificate in duplicate issued by an official authority (British Council, Alliance Française, or qualified teacher of the language concerned). Inadequate knowledge of the language always leads to failure. No exceptions can be made to this save in the case of short study tours where interpretation services may be provided if a case can be made.

International Fellowships

Supporting Material: Applications, supplemented with the UNESCO form and MASHAV questionnaire should clearly indicate their chosen course and must be presented by the government authorities (the National Commission or Permanent Delegation). Each Member State may submit up to two applications. Completed applications must be received Mr. Stoyan Bantchev, Chief of the Section of Participation Programme and Fellowships (UNESCO, 7 Place de Fontenoy, 75352 Paris 07) according to the deadline of 3 avril2015. A scanned copy should be sent by email to imperatively: i.ibn-mokrane (at) unesco.org. These records should include:
-The UNESCO Fellowship application form;
-The MASHAV questionnaires including the certificate of fitness;
-two photographs (4 x 6 cm);
-Certified copies of diplomas;
-The employer reference letters
-The language certificates if necessary; and,
-The photocopy of passport

How to Apply: The application form should be submitted by the appropriate governmental body and each part should be answered completely and accurately. The application should be submitted in three copies. The information requested should be either typed or written in ink in block capitals. Where additional space is needed, a separate sheet should be used and attached in three copies.
