COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGIST-METABOLIC MODELING
The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard seeks a COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGIST-METABOLIC MODELING, to work directly with the associate director of microbial sequence analysis and assume responsibility for developing and applying advanced computational tools for the analysis of metabolic networks; work with collaborators to integrate experimental validation with computational analysis; and communicate results to the scientific community through conference presentations and publications. The research will entail utilizing genomic data and technologies for discovering and modeling metabolic networks. Representative duties will include developing, documenting, maintaining, and applying computational tools for modeling metabolic networks; contributing to the maintenance of analysis infrastructure supporting the microbial analysis team (data sets and databases, shared code bases, etc.); interacting and coordinating with collaborators as required; publishing scholarly reports and presenting at scientific conferences; participating within a team of scientists to foster a culture of scientific discourse and excellence; and related tasks as needed. more..
