at the University of Oklahoma, USA.OPEN POSITIONS
One postdoctoral and several PhD student positions are available in the new Computational Chemistry and Biophysics lab headed by Dr. Khandogin in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of Oklahoma. Research projects include but are not limited to the development of theoretical and computational methods for studying metal-assisted protein folding; methods and algorithms for accelerated conformational sampling; and applications of existing and new computational tools to study folding and aggregation of proteins implicated in Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases.

PhD student positions
Required qualifications:
- Self-motivated individual holding a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics or a related discipline
- Strong interest and attention to details
- Good oral and written English language skills
- Interest and skills in mathematics and computer programming preferred
