Eligibility: To be eligible for a Cordwainers MA Scholarship, applicants must be:
-Accepted on the full-time MA Fashion Artefact or MA Fashion Footwear courses at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London
-Be an undergraduate student expecting to graduate with a first or 2:1 in a Bachelors degree (with Honours) from a recognised higher education institution before 31st July 2015
-Be a graduate, having already gained first or 2:1 in a Bachelors degree (with Honours) from a recognised Higher Education institution
-Able to demonstrate substantial equivalent and applicable experience (for those without a Bachelor’s degree)

Scholarship Open for International Students: University of the Arts LondonUK/EU and international students can apply for this MA scholarship.

Scholarship Description: The Cordwainers MA Scholarship of £8000 is available to one Home/EU or international student accepted on the MA Fashion Artefact or MA Fashion Footwear courses at London College of Fashion. The scholarship will cover Home/EU tuition fees and contribute towards international tuition fees. The Cordwainers Scholarship aim is to promote postgraduate study at London College of Fashion to students with the ability and potential to make an exceptional contribution to the fashion industry. Applications welcome from those unable to finance themselves through postgraduate study and who will benefit from further study to realise their full potential.

What does it cover? The Cordwainers MA Scholarship of £8000 will cover Home/E.U tuition fees and will be a contribution towards International tuition fees.

Selection Criteria: Applications will be initially assessed by University of the Arts London Student Funding Service based on the financial information supplied in your application and ranked according to financial need. Applications shortlisted as a result of the above process will then be forwarded onto a selection panel at the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London for shortlisting by ascertaining the academic potential of each application. The Panel will make their final selections by marking the quality of application and interview, the preparedness for high quality study in the discipline area and the articulation of how a Cordwainers MA Scholarship will contribute to his or her long-term career aims.
