Courtney Adams Music Scholarship 2009, Franklin & Marshall College: Courtney S. Adams was a leading force in the Music Department’s faculty from 1979 to 1995. Her radiant and generous spirit, along with her energy and enthusiasm, made her a beloved teacher. The Courtney Adams Music Scholarship honors her memory.

The Courtney Adams Music Scholarship is awarded to incoming students who demonstrate exceptional musical ability, dedication, and potential for making positive contributions to the musical life of Franklin & Marshall College.

Benefits - Up to $5,000 renewable talent-based scholarship

Franklin & Marshall students may apply for the Joseph P. and Marianne S. Nolt Music Award to support musically enriching projects of up to $3,000. This award is given to 3 or 4 enrolled Franklin & Marshall students each Spring semester.

To be considered for a Courtney Adams Music Scholarship, applicants must submit an application for general admission, as well as a Music Scholarship application, by February 1. As noted on the application, auditions the for scholarship will be held on:
