Cullen International Abigail Browne Fellowship in Belgium, 2016

Cullen International announces Abigail Browne fellowship to work at Cullen International’s offices in Brussels for three months. The fellowship is open only to nationals of the CEPT member states.

The successful candidate will receive a fellowship of €4.5K and Travel and accommodation expenses will also be covered, in the amount of up to €3K.

The aim of the fellowship is to promote the exchange of perspectives and best practices in the field of communications regulation among European states, including building on the EU’s common regulatory framework for electronic communications.

Founded in 1986, Cullen International has grown into the leading provider of regulatory intelligence in the telecommunications, media, digital economy and postal sectors and for competition law.

Course Level: This is a three months research fellowship programme.

Study Subject:  Fellowship is awarded in the field of communications regulation.

Scholarship Award: The successful candidate will receive a fellowship of €4.5K and be given the opportunity to work at Cullen International’s offices in Brussels for three months, with access to our extensive database of regulatory research. Travel and accommodation expenses will also be covered, in the amount of up to €3K.

Scholarship can be taken in Belgium (Brussels)

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for this fellowship:

  • Candidates are therefore invited to submit their ideas for a research project to improve the understanding of communications regulation, contributing to the more efficient or effective regulation of the sector and/or the sharing of best practice.
  • The fellowship is open only to nationals of the CEPT member states.

Nationality: The fellowship is open only to nationals of the CEPT member states.  Applicants from European countries outside the EU are eligible to apply for this fellowship.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.

English language Requirements: Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.

  • A two-page application letter providing an outline of the planned research area and a description of how the research will contribute to the promotion of the exchange of ideas and best practices in the field of communications regulation among European states;
  • A comprehensive CV;
  • Proof of meeting the eligibility criterion: nationality of a CEPT member state.
