Students who are passionate about dancing and want to make their career in the same field are facilitated with various Dance scholarships. Dance is an emerging field and has so much variety that students easily get attracted towards it. Students with traits like hard work, talent and dedication are perfect to pursue their career in dance major. A number of universities and colleges are offering dance scholarships and grants to reward students and create path for them so that they can achieve heights in their career.

CBC Spouses Heineken USA Performing Arts Scholarships
The CBC Spouses Heineken USA Performing Arts Scholarship is available to pursue undergraduate degree. Applicants must plan to enter a career in the performing arts. 10 dance scholarships will be provided. Scholarship amounts $3000 each. Scholarship application deadline is 17 February 2017.

Kyalami School Cultural Scholarship
Kyalami School is funding dance scholarship for the students of South Africa. Candidates must be a member of a dance studio and preferably have participated in examinations and/or participated at Eisteddfod level. Application deadline is 28 February 2017.

Mellon Postdoctoral Dance Fellowships
Mellon Dance fellowships are available for international applicants. These dance fellowships are offered to pursue PhD programme. Fellowships will be provided for one year, renewable for second year. Applicationdeadline is January 20, 2017.  

Künstlerhaus Lukas Dance Scholarships
Künstlerhaus Lukas is funding dance scholarships for the students of Germany for the academic year 2016-2017. Each scholarship at Künstlerhaus Lukas is worth 1000 € per month including travel costs. Free accommodation will be provided. Application period start from 1st June to 30th July 2017.

Chilton Dance Scholarship
Chilton Saint James School is offering dance scholarship. Performing Arts Scholarships are awarded for 3 years for entry into Year 9 and Year 11. The scholarship is open for the students of New Zealand. Applications for entry in 2017 are now open until 20 July.

Kresge Artist Fellowships in Literary Arts and Visual Arts, USA
Applications are invited for Kresge Artist Fellowships available for emerging and established artists whose commitment to artistic achievement in contemporary or traditional forms, is evident in the quality of their work. Fellowships are awarded to Detroit Literary and Visual artists who are current legal residents of the metropolitan Detroit tri-county area (Macomb, Oakland or Wayne counties) in Michigan. The program will provide support for nine Literary Arts Fellows and nine Visual Arts Fellows. Kresge Artist Fellowships consist of a $25,000 award and professional practice opportunities for emerging and established metropolitan Detroit for 12 months. The application deadline is January 22.     

All Saints’ College Performing Arts Scholarships
All Saints’ College is funding performing arts scholarships for the students of USA. The value of the scholarship is a minimum of 50% of the College’s academic fee. Performing Arts Scholarships are awarded to dedicated and talented students in the area of drama, dance or Media entering Years 9 to 11 in 2017.

NDFB Dance Scholarships
National Dance Foundation is inviting applications for Bermudian citizens or possesses Bermudian status. Applicants must be accepted into a professional programme overseas before receiving funds. All applications must be completed and received by May 30.
