Scholarship Description:A folk high school, which does not correspond to the high schools found in Anglo-Saxon countries, is a non-formal residential school offering learning opportunities in almost any subject including history, arts, music, sports, philosophy, theatre, photography etc. The schools decide individually the content of the courses and there are no tests nor exams.

( votes)The courses must have a minimum duration of 12 weeks. If the student leaves before, the grant will be cancelled and all costs are to be paid by the student. The students have to be at least 17½ years old (16½ in the three youth folk high schools) and be citizens of and have permanent residence permits in one of the following new EU member states.
