Deakin University announces scholarships up to Rs. 1.8 Crore for Indian Students. These scholarships are available for postgraduate and undergraduate studies in the field of Creative Arts, Health, Sports, Engineering and Business Analytics.

The aim of the Vice Chancellor Meritorious Scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able students from India.

Deakin University is an Australian public university with approximately 50,644 higher education students in 2014. Deakin university’s aim is to examine the impact of the division between further and higher education on strategies to widen participation in education.

Applicants must demonstrate they meet the English language requirements, to the level required for the band specified for the course.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programme.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the field of Creative Arts, Health, Sports, Engineering and Business Analytics.

Scholarship Award: This year in May 2016, Deakin University is offering three 100% tuition fee waiver scholarships to meritorious applicants from India.

Eligibility: The criterion to apply for the scholarships is based on academic and extra-curricular achievements while studying.  Applicants need to demonstrate high level of academic merit –80% plus in Class Twelve and Bachelor Degree.

Nationality: Indian students can apply for these scholarships.

-current studies (including course name and institution, duration and expected date of completion)
-English language proficiency and/or results of recent English language testing
