ICDD PhD Scholarships for Developing Countries 2017
The International Center for Development and Decent Work (ICDD) offers PhD Positions. Positions are open for citizenship of an ODA recipient country. The position is available to apply for a PhD scholarship in a particular academic field at an ICDD partner university. Scholarship will cover a country-specific monthly allowance, tuition fees, the participation in ICDD graduate school activities as well as the opportunity to apply for field research funding. Sadako Ogata Masters Scholarship

University of London is offering masters scholarship for lower and middle income countries students to start their studies in March, 2017. Up to two prestigious scholarships are available to pursue MA in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies. Scholarship covers the ‘whole fee’ for the programme, comprising two Core Module fees, four Elective Module fees, and the two Dissertation modules fees. The application deadline is 16 January 2017.

Austrian Government OeAD Ernst Mach Follow-up Grants for Non-European Developing Countries, 2017
Austrian Federal Ministry of Education and Science (BMWF) is inviting post-docs from Non-European Developing Countries to apply for OeAD Ernst Mach Follow-up Grants. These grants are available to students and young researchers for a research or a study stay in Austria. With the Ernst Mach Follow Up Grant (EZA) post-docs/former scholarship holders of the OeAD can receive targeted and sustainable support for their scientific career. The closing date for application is February 1, 2017.

Chancellor’s International Scholarships for Postgraduate

University of Sussex is inviting applications for Chancellor’s International Scholarship for postgraduate taught programme. Total 25 scholarships are available for international student. Scholarship covers 50% off international student tuition fee. The scholarships are offered for one year. Students who hold other University of Sussex scholarships will not be eligible for the Chancellors International Scholarship. The application deadline is 1st May 2017.

The Leakey Foundation is inviting applications for Franklin Mosher Baldwin Memorial Fellowships. These fellowships are intended for scholars and students of a developing country who wish to obtain an advanced degree from an institution outside the student’s home country. It is limited to two years of support. The maximum award is limited to $15,000 per year. The application deadline is February 15.

2016 FIG Foundation PhD Scholarships
FIG Foundation is offering PhD scholarships for applicants from low-income, lower-middle or upper-middle income economy. The FIG Foundation will be providing scholarships of up to 4,000 euros to PhD students. 2016 EDCTP-TDR Clinical Research and Development Fellowships
EDCTP and WHO/TDR are jointly implementing clinical fellowships to support researchers and key members of clinical trial research teams from Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs). WHO/TDR will fund fellows employed by a research institution (home organisation) in any LMICs for placements in pharmaceutical companies and PDPs (host organisations) either in or outside Europe. The application deadlines are 28 January 2016 (Stage 1) and 21 July 2016 (Stage 2: Training plan – EDCTP only).

Jay Jordan IFLA/OCLC Early Career Development Fellowship
This early career development fellowship program provides early career development and continuing education for library and information science professionals from countries with developing economies. Up to five individuals are selected each year for participation in this intensive four-week Fellowship Program based at OCLC’s headquarters in Dublin, Ohio, USA. Fellows visit selected libraries and cultural heritage institutions, meet with leading information professionals and observe OCLC’s governance structure in action. The application deadline is February 12, 2016.

3ie Scholarship for Developing Countries
University of East Anglia is inviting applications for 3ie scholarship. One 3ie scholarship is available for applicants from less developed countries who apply for a place on the Msc Impact Evaluation for International Development. The Scholarship covers £10,000 of the course tuition fee and one return economy flight. The scholarship is provided to study Msc Impact Evaluation for International Development. All applicants are expected to have met the School’s English language requirements and been offered and accepted a place on the course by this date.  The application deadline is 30 May 2015.

Edinburgh Global Latin-American Masters Scholarships
The University of Edinburgh is inviting application for Latin-American masters scholarships. Six Edinburgh Global Latin American Masters Scholarships are available to students from eligible countries for postgraduate Master’s study in any subject offered by the University for the 2015-2016 academic session. Each scholarship will have a value of £5,000, to be deducted from tuition fees, and will be tenable for one academic year. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must have accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master’s programme of study at the University of Edinburgh. The application deadline is 1 April.

Japanese Government Dominican Republic Scholarships

Fellowship program provides relevant and contemporary nephrology training to physicians. Applicants must have been nominated by a Home Mentor and their Home Institution must guarantee their re-employment once training has been completed. ISN Fellowship grants are awarded on the condition that Fellows return to their respective home countries within three months after completion of the training. TWAS-CONACYT Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
TWAS and CONACYT are inviting applications for TWAS-CONACYT postdoctoral fellowship programme. Dominican Republic fellowships cover standard monthly allowance and a fixed amount for mandatory health insurance coverage. Applicants must prove knowledge of Spanish or provide a certificate of proficiency in English. The application deadline is 15th September.

Japan-WCO Human Resource Development Scholarship for Dominican Republican Students
Dominican Republic scholarships are awarded to undertake Master’s level studies at the Aoyama Gakuin University (AGU) in Tokyo, Japan. A candidate must be in good health and preferably under 40 years of age as of April 1, 2015. The maximum number of students for the SMIPRP course is approximately 10. This scholarship is for one academic year starting from April. Application deadline is 21st August, 2014 for getting an ID and password and last date for receipt of the Application Forms is 28th August 2014.

TWAS-ICCBS Fellowship Program for Dominican Republic Students

TWAS-IACS Fellowship Program for Dominican Republic Students
Fellowships for Dominican Republic are available for undertaking research at postgraduate and postdoctoral level at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS). Applicants must be of 30 years of maximum age for postgraduate and 40 years for postdoctoral programme on 31 December of the application year. Applications must be submitted by 31st August 2014.

Masters Fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine
Fellowships are available for research training at Master’s degree level. A Fellowship normally provides up to 30 months’ support. Fellows must be based in a low- or middle-income country for their research project. A period of 12 months should normally be dedicated to undertaking a taught Master’s course at a recognised centre of excellence, combined with up to 18 months to undertake a research project. Applications will close on 15th August 2014.

TWAS-IROST Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
Fellowships for Dominican Republic students are available for undertaking postdoctoral programme at Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology. TWAS-IROST Postdoctoral Fellowships in natural sciences are tenable for a minimum period of six months to a maximum period of twelve months at IROST. Last date of submitting applications is 15th September 2014.

ICO Three-Month Fellowships in Ophthalmology
Fellowships provide young ophthalmologists with exposure to and training in several subspecialties in ophthalmology. Applicant must be under 40 years of age at the time of applying. The fellowships will include S$6000 (maximum) to cover travel and living expenses. The application deadline is September 30 each year.

TWAS-USM Fellowship Program

ICTP Master Dominican Republic Scholarships

ICTP will also cover, on the basis of a detailed request, travel costs and course fees for a limited number of successful candidates from developing countries who are not awarded the full scholarship. TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme 
Applications are invited for TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme available for Dominican Republic students. Fellowships are tenable at key biotechnology research institutions in India for a period of up to five years. DBT will provide a monthly stipend to cover for living costs, food and health insurance. The application deadline is 31st August 2014.

TWAS-icipe Fellowship Program
The International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe) is offering fellowship program for Dominican Republic students. Applicants must have official acceptance at an eligible department, institution or laboratory at icipe. Three PhD fellowships and one postdoctoral fellowship will be awarded. TWAS-CSIR Fellowship Programme
Fellowships are available for pursuing research at postgraduate and postdoctoral level at laboratories and institutes of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of India. The minimum period of this programme is six months and maximum is twelve months. The application deadline is 31st August of each year.
